Prepare drafts and review legal documents and other legal memoranda (formal complaints, subpoenas, settlement agreements, conciliation agreements and consent orders); conducts legal research; participates in drafting new and revised administrative rules. Assist with legislative updates. Assist with preparation & review of all division/agency legal documents. Supervise activities of staff (e.g., Civil Rights ADR Mediator, Reconsideration Officer). Prepare and conduct performance reviews and participates in planning improved methods of review and delivery of services. Answer legal inquiries from government officials &/or public; assist staff in resolving complex questions of law; prepare & deliver speeches; represent division/agency in meetings; participate in training of staff and conducts seminars dealing with ORC 4112.
