Department: TRI | Clinical Research Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties: The Associate Program Manager serves as a navigator to connect faculty investigators with the Translational Research Institute's (TRI’s) broad portfolio of resources and services. Primary responsibilities include managing the TRI Clinical Trial Innovation Unit’s (CTIU) portfolio of new clinical trial opportunities, including matching new study opportunities with UAMS investigators, leading pre-study site selection activities, to include feasibility assessments and facilitating pre-study site visits for prospective research sponsors. The Associate Program Manager will participate in the national Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) initiatives, including serving as UAMS’ liaison to the CTSA Trial Innovation Network (TIN) and will work independently to create, manage, and oversee projects for the TRI. Leads cross-functional project teams and tracks progress of projects to ensure timely completion of project deliverables. Position requires exceptional communication skills and involves constant collaboration with TRI leadership and staff, UAMS faculty, and other institutional stakeholders.
