Job Purpose: Reporting to the Business Development Manager-General insurance, the incumbent will be responsible for securing new business in Pension, Group personal Accident and Group Life and Credit Life either directly, through brokers and other distribution channels. Key responsibilities • Secure new Group and Credit Life business directly or through Financial Advisors • Assist in research at the marketplace to help design innovative products for credit life and group life. • Creating and implementing sales strategies and campaigns with a view to growing GL and Credit life policies • Locate, propose and develop potential business partnerships. • Following up on identified prospects and proceeding to close sales. • Work towards achieving the set Group Life and Credit Life sales targets and contribute to Overall topline targets. • Maintain excellent Customer Service to all our clients • Service and retain existing Clients. • Ensure that accurate and competitive quotations to prospective clients & FAs. • Follow up premium collections, business renewals and timely reconciliation of accounts • Consolidate and forward weekly reports on activities done and monthly reports • Undertake initial underwriting of business to ensure sound acceptance of risk within the set mandate • Handle customer complaints written or verbal and refer to the supervisor where necessary. • Present an excellent image of the Company • Assist in coordinating the claim notification of our GL and Credit Life clientele • Monitoring client portfolios and Propose tailor made solutions to various clients. • Assists in following up GL and Credit Life Policy renewals • Performs any other duties assigned by the Business Development Manager Job Purpose: Reporting to the Business Development Manager-General insurance, the incumbent will be responsible for securing new business in Pension, Group personal Accident and Group Life and Credit Life either directly, through brokers and other distribution channels.
