THE POSITION: As a member of STACK’s Technical Operations team, the CMMS Analyst supports the administration, data integrity, and continuous improvement of computerized maintenance management systems used by STACK’s Critical Operations teams. This role helps ensure that asset, preventive maintenance, work order, and maintenance history data are accurate, consistently structured, and usable to support maintenance execution, compliance monitoring, reliability analysis, and portfolio reporting. You’ll work closely with Critical Operations, Technical Operations, Reliability Engineering, IT, and other partners to maintain CMMS standards, resolve data and process gaps, support system users, and improve maintenance workflows. The role will also support new site integrations, system implementations, and future CMMS transitions as STACK’s maintenance technology evolves. We’re looking for someone who understands maintenance-management processes, is comfortable working with operational and asset data, and enjoys improving the systems and processes that support mission-critical facilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Support integration of new sites, assets, expansions, and acquisitions into established CMMS processes and standards Administer and maintain CMMS asset data, equipment hierarchies, preventive maintenance requirements, workflows, and established system configurations Maintain the accuracy and completeness of asset, preventive maintenance, work order, and maintenance-history data Monitor maintenance compliance and identify overdue, deferred, missed, or inconsistent maintenance for review and resolution Ensure CMMS preventive maintenance requirements align with approved Equipment Maintenance Standards and established maintenance governance Support consistent work order practices, maintenance documentation, failure coding, and equipment-history capture Develop and maintain maintenance and asset reporting to provide visibility into maintenance execution, compliance, backlog, and asset performance Analyze CMMS data to identify data-quality gaps, recurring maintenance trends, and opportunities for process improvement Support Reliability Engineering and Technical Operations with maintenance and asset data used for reliability analysis, lifecycle planning, and portfolio health reporting Provide CMMS user support, troubleshooting, training, and process guidance to Critical Operations teams Partner with IT and operational stakeholders on system enhancements, integrations, automation, and continuous improvement Support CMMS implementation, migration, testing, and data-validation activities as platforms and site requirements evolve Champion consistent maintenance practices, data integrity, and continuous improvement across Critical Operations THE DETAILS: Location: Gainesville, VA Travel: Minimal Must be eligible to work in the United States Must pass comprehensive background screening MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS: 2–4 years of experience supporting maintenance operations, asset management, CMMS/EAM systems, critical facilities, or a related technical environment Experience working with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), or comparable maintenance-management platform Working knowledge of preventive maintenance, work order management, asset records, and maintenance data Strong analytical and data-management skills with demonstrated attention to data accuracy and completeness Experience working with large datasets and using tools such as Microsoft Excel for analysis and validation Ability to identify process and data-quality gaps and work with stakeholders to resolve them Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Comfortable working independently within established standards and managing multiple priorities Ability to collaborate effectively with site Operations and cross-functional technical teams Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a technical, engineering, information systems, business, or related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience preferred Experience with NetSuite, Maximo, MCIM, MaintainX, or another enterprise CMMS/EAM platform preferred Experience in data centers, critical facilities, utilities, manufacturing, industrial operations, or another asset-intensive environment preferred Experience with CMMS implementations, system migrations, asset-data conversions, or system integrations preferred Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, controls, or critical-facility asset hierarchies preferred Experience with reporting or visualization tools such as Power BI preferred THIS MIGHT BE RIGHT FOR YOU IF: You are a strong communicator, you are persuasive and clear, blending analytics with experience in decision-making.
