Consumer Services Marketing Account Director at jobgether

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Consumer Services Marketing Account Director based in United States. This role leads a portfolio of consumer services accounts where lead quality, sales outcomes, and customer acquisition efficiency are the primary measures of success. You will act as a senior strategic partner to clients across areas such as home services, education, financial services, hospitality, and insurance. The position combines marketing strategy, performance analysis, client leadership, and commercial growth. You will identify growth constraints across audiences, markets, messaging, channels, and measurement, then turn those insights into actionable strategies. You will work closely with client sales and operations teams to connect marketing activity with the leads their businesses can actually convert. The role also includes coaching internal talent and using AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, insight generation, and account performance. Accountabilities: Own a portfolio of 4–6 consumer services accounts, developing strategies focused on lead quality, funnel conversion, customer acquisition cost, and sustainable business growth. Use AI technologies and internal intelligence tools to improve business processes, accelerate analysis, and enhance marketing decision-making. Lead quarterly strategic reviews that diagnose growth constraints across business objectives, audience, product, messaging, channels, and measurement, with particular attention to lead quality and funnel performance. Partner directly with client sales and operations teams to understand lead quality requirements and incorporate those insights into targeting, creative, media, and campaign strategies. Own senior client relationships and lead quarterly business reviews focused on meaningful business metrics such as cost per acquisition, lead-to-close rates, and customer value rather than surface-level media metrics. Coordinate paid search, paid social, SEO, local marketing, and creative teams around a unified account strategy and clear business objectives. Advise clients on geographic expansion and local market prioritization, developing practical frameworks for evaluating new markets and allocating investment. Drive client retention, renewals, account expansion, and recurring revenue growth through strategic value delivery and proactive relationship management. Build multi-threaded relationships across client organizations to strengthen account continuity and reduce dependency on individual stakeholders. Maintain consistent use of internal technology, performance intelligence, diagnostic, and client sentiment tools across managed accounts. Monitor account health, performance trends, client sentiment, and opportunities for service expansion, taking action before risks become material. Coach analysts and marketing specialists through direct, specific feedback, helping team members strengthen their strategic and execution capabilities. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve processes, leverage AI, and increase the quality and efficiency of client delivery. Requirements 6+ years of experience in lead generation, consumer services marketing, digital marketing, or a closely related field, either in an agency or in-house environment. Strong understanding of lead-generation economics, including CPL, lead-to-opportunity rate, cost per acquisition, and lifetime value by lead source. Experience working with organizations that have internal sales teams and an ability to align marketing strategies with the leads and opportunities those teams can effectively convert. Strong familiarity with paid-search-heavy media strategies and local or market-level campaign structures. Knowledge of local SEO, Google Business Profile, review strategies, and other tactics relevant to geographically distributed consumer services businesses. Demonstrated understanding of the difference between lead volume and lead quality, with experience shifting marketing strategies toward higher-quality business outcomes. Proven track record of retaining and growing client accounts, including identifying opportunities for expansion and increasing recurring revenue. Strong client-facing communication, presentation, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills. Ability to interpret performance data, identify business constraints, and turn complex findings into practical recommendations. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple specialists and priorities around a unified account strategy. Advanced spoken and written English proficiency. Experience coaching, mentoring, or developing analysts, specialists, or other marketing professionals is preferred. Familiarity with AI-powered marketing and analytics tools and a willingness to incorporate emerging technology into day-to-day workflows is preferred. Benefits Base salary paid in USD, plus commission opportunities. Unlimited time off available from day one. Flexible work environment with fully remote, in-office, or hybrid options. $50 monthly healthcare stipend to support healthcare or insurance costs. National holidays plus two Mental Health Recharge Days each year. Opportunities for career advancement and leadership within a rapidly growing organization. Ongoing personal and professional development programs. Quarterly awards, including financial prizes and recognition for outstanding performance. Opportunities to participate in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of consumer services businesses and solve complex lead-generation and growth challenges. Exposure to AI-enabled marketing technology and data-driven strategic frameworks.
