The Creative Strategist leads paid social creative strategy across a portfolio of 8–10 client accounts, turning performance data and consumer insights into high-impact advertising concepts. You’ll combine creative thinking with rigorous analysis to develop campaigns designed to improve metrics such as CPA, CTR, ROAS, and brand awareness. The role spans research, ideation, copywriting, scripting, testing, reporting, and creative production. You’ll work closely with clients and internal creative, production, media, and account teams to bring ideas from concept through delivery. Success requires a strong understanding of paid social platforms, ecommerce trends, consumer behavior, and performance-driven creative. You’ll operate in a fast-paced, AI-enabled environment where experimentation, accountability, and continuous improvement are central to the work. Accountabilities: Lead paid social creative strategy for a portfolio of approximately 8–10 mid-level client accounts, ensuring creative direction is aligned with brand objectives, consumer needs, and performance goals. Use creative performance data, consumer research, brand insights, competitor analysis, and industry trends to identify opportunities and develop high-performing creative strategies. Continuously audit campaigns to identify winning and underperforming ads, translate findings into actionable insights, and develop hypotheses and testing roadmaps to improve results. Develop consumer-centric direct-response copy, messaging strategies, creative concepts, and scripts, and guide their execution through production and delivery. Present creative performance reporting and recommendations to clients and internal teams through clear, compelling storytelling that connects insights to business outcomes. Build strong client relationships by understanding their products, objectives, expectations, and challenges while serving as the primary creative strategy point of contact. Collaborate closely with creative, production, post-production, client management, and other internal teams to ensure high-quality assets are delivered effectively. Review video and image assets and provide clear, actionable feedback to editors, while managing requests, revisions, reshoots, scope, and deliverables through established workflows. Lead productive creative team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and ideation processes focused on generating concepts that can produce measurable testing insights. Push back constructively on timelines, scope, feedback, and creative direction when needed, using performance-driven best practices to support stronger outcomes. Respond quickly to both strong and weak campaign results, identifying what should be scaled, changed, tested, or replaced with a growth-oriented problem-solving approach. Apply AI technologies and internal AI-enabled tools to improve creative strategy, research, analysis, and business processes. Requirements: Hands-on experience developing creative strategy for paid social campaigns, with proficiency in Meta Ads Manager and/or comparable platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, or Pinterest. Strong technical ability to pull, interpret, and apply creative performance data, identify trends and insights, and translate findings into actionable creative roadmaps. Solid understanding of performance-driven creative best practices and the ability to apply them across different platforms, audiences, brands, and campaign objectives. Demonstrated ability to write effective advertising copy, structure creative scripts, develop messaging concepts, and work through the execution of corresponding visual assets. Experience using performance metrics such as CPA, CTR, and ROAS to evaluate creative effectiveness and inform testing and optimization decisions. Strong client-facing communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, creative teams, production partners, and post-production specialists. Demonstrated ability to develop creative strategies that contribute to strong campaign performance and measurable client outcomes. A self-starting, proactive approach with strong ownership, curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to iterate continuously based on results. Ability to manage multiple client relationships and competing priorities while maintaining high standards for creative quality, communication, and delivery. Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in English, with the ability to explain creative insights and recommendations clearly. Experience in a digital marketing agency environment and familiarity with ecommerce, consumer services, CPG, healthcare, lifestyle, or other consumer-focused industries is valuable.
