This is a senior commercial operations role focused on driving cross-functional planning, alignment, and execution across global commercialization priorities. You will serve as a key project management partner to commercial, medical, market access, and other cross-functional leaders within an assigned disease area. The role brings structure and execution discipline to complex initiatives in a fast-growing, build-while-scaling environment. You will oversee strategic priorities, launch readiness activities, governance processes, dependencies, risks, and key decisions. The position offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to strengthen commercialization capabilities, tools, and ways of working. As the function develops, the role may also expand into people leadership responsibilities. Accountabilities: Lead project management support for Global Commercialization Teams and Global Commercial Teams within an assigned disease area, driving alignment, accountability, and execution across strategic priorities. Drive the execution of global commercial and commercialization initiatives by managing milestones, risks, dependencies, decisions, and follow-up actions. Coordinate inputs across Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Supply, Legal, Finance, and regional stakeholders to develop cohesive and integrated commercialization plans. Facilitate strategic planning, governance, and decision-making processes, ensuring clear ownership and effective follow-through on commitments. Proactively identify execution risks, dependencies, and challenges, developing solutions and escalating issues when appropriate to maintain momentum. Develop and maintain project plans, dashboards, timelines, reporting tools, and other mechanisms that provide clear visibility into progress, priorities, and potential issues. Support launch readiness and other major commercialization initiatives within the assigned disease area, ensuring alignment between planning and execution needs. Partner with project management colleagues across the organization to align development, lifecycle, medical, market access, and commercial plans and deliverables. Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of Commercial Project Management capabilities, including tools, templates, best practices, and standardized ways of working. Build effective relationships with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams, using influence and strong facilitation skills to drive alignment without relying on formal authority. Requirements: Hold a bachelor’s degree and bring 10+ years of relevant experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or a closely related industry. Demonstrate significant experience leading complex, cross-functional projects, commercialization initiatives, or strategic programs within a global organization. Have experience supporting global commercial organizations, particularly across launch readiness, lifecycle management, or major commercialization programs. Bring experience working across global and regional operating models and coordinating diverse stakeholder groups across functions and geographies. Demonstrate strong project management capabilities, including planning, dependency and risk management, stakeholder leadership, governance, and executive communication. Have a proven ability to influence without authority, build alignment across diverse teams, and maintain momentum in complex and evolving environments. Have experience partnering with senior commercial, medical affairs, market access, and other cross-functional leaders. Demonstrate a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments where priorities and organizational structures may evolve. Possess excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear priorities and decisions for diverse audiences. Bring strong judgment, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent programs or workstreams. An advanced degree such as an MBA, MS, or PhD is preferred, as is formal project management training or certification such as PMP. Oncology or specialty pharmaceutical commercialization experience is preferred, along with early people leadership experience or readiness to assume people management responsibilities as the capability grows. Benefits: Base salary range of $201,000–$251,000 USD , with actual compensation determined by factors including skills, experience, education, training, market dynamics, role, level, and location.
