This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director - Indirect Tax based in the United States. This is a senior leadership opportunity to own and scale a global indirect tax operating model within a complex technology environment. You will oversee U.S. sales and use tax, Canada GST, global VAT/GST coordination, e-invoicing, digital reporting, reconciliations, and compliance governance. The role combines strategic tax leadership with hands-on execution, giving you meaningful ownership over both decisions and outcomes. You will work across Tax, Finance, IT, Revenue, Billing, Procurement, and regional teams to build scalable and well-controlled processes. A key focus will be strengthening tax technology governance, integrations, reporting, automation, and readiness for evolving digital tax requirements. You will also manage external providers, improve operational accountability, and ensure processes remain audit-ready and sustainable. This remote role is ideal for an experienced indirect tax leader who enjoys solving complex problems and building better systems.
