Job Summary The Director, IT PMO & Integration is responsible for enterprise IT project management, portfolio governance, scheduling, staffing coordination, tooling, and execution discipline across the IT organization. This role serves as the central point of coordination for IT work execution, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business priorities. In addition to core PMO leadership, this role acts as the primary IT coordination point for M&A activities, partnering with the Loenbro M&A and Integration teams to ensure successful due diligence, Day 1 readiness, and post-close integration execution. The Director will coordinate closely with external consulting partners, including planning and functional alignment as well as through execution delivery, to ensure consistency between strategy, planning, and execution across all IT initiatives. This role operates within a high-growth environment undergoing enterprise transformation, requiring a leader who can balance operational rigor with adaptability, while driving accountability across internal teams and external partners. Essential Job Responsibilities Project & Portfolio Management Manage the full IT project lifecycle—from intake and prioritization through execution, delivery, and closeout Develop and maintain enterprise-level project schedules, milestones, and dependency maps across all IT initiatives Facilitate Agile and hybrid delivery cadences , including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives Provide executive-level dashboards and reporting on project health, risks, dependencies, and resource utilization Drive standardization and adoption of Azure DevOps for project tracking, backlog management, and reporting M&A IT Integration Coordination Serve as the IT lead coordinating all M&A-related IT activities , including diligence, integration planning, Day 1 readiness, and post-close execution Partner with Loenbro’s M&A and Integration leadership to translate deal requirements into actionable IT workstreams Track and manage integration milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables Develop and maintain IT integration playbooks, templates, and checklists Ensure alignment of acquired companies to Loenbro IT systems, security standards, and operating model Consulting Partner & Vendor Coordination Serve as the primary coordination point for IT consulting partners , including: planning, readiness, and functional alignment execution delivery and implementation Establish clear accountability (e.g. RACI), deliverables, and timelines across internal teams and external vendors Drive execution discipline, reporting cadence, and issue resolution across partner engagements Ensure consulting outputs are translated into actionable execution plans within IT teams Resource Management & Scheduling Support enterprise resource allocation and capacity planning across IT Identify staffing gaps, skill shortages, and vendor requirements , partnering with leadership to address needs Manage coordination of onboarding/offboarding for IT staff, contractors, and integration resources Budget & Financial Management Support management of the IT operating budget , including forecasting, variance tracking, and reporting Provide visibility into project-level financial performance , including vendor spend and integration costs Assist in the Contract Renewal process Governance & Process Improvement Establish and enforce PMO standards, templates, and governance frameworks (project charters, status reporting, change control) Support and enhance IT intake and prioritization processes , including CAB where applicable Implement stage gates and execution controls across both IT projects and M&A integration initiatives Assist in the creation and refinement of the Loenbro SDLC Drive continuous improvement of PMO processes, tools, and reporting capabilities Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration Facilitate cross-functional coordination between IT and business units (HR, Finance, Operations, etc.) Serve as a key interface between: IT leadership M&A / Integration teams External consulting partners Deliver executive-level reporting and insights to CIO and senior leadership Minimum Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field 10–12+ years of experience in IT project/program management or PMO leadership 5+ years leading PMO functions (governance, resource planning, delivery) Experience supporting M&A integrations or large-scale transformation initiatives Proven experience managing IT budgets and project financials Experience working within or supporting IT organizations of 20+ employees Strong proficiency with Azure DevOps or similar tools Solid knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery methodologies Preferred: Experience working with consulting firms and multi-vendor environments Track record leading end-to-end delivery execution Experience in acquisition-driven or high-growth organizations Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform) Experience with Power BI or executive reporting tools Knowledge of SDLC, ITIL, and IT governance best practices Relevant certifications (PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, AI-related, etc.) Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
