This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Partner Marketing based in the United States. This role leads the growth and strategic development of a portfolio of high-value marketing partnerships. You will own partner relationships, P&L management, marketing strategy, and growth initiatives across multiple financial product categories. Working closely with strategic partners, you will identify opportunities to expand relationships, launch new products, and increase revenue. The position combines partner management, business development, financial modeling, analytics, and cross-functional execution. You will turn complex performance data into actionable recommendations and compelling strategies for both internal and external stakeholders. You will also lead and develop direct reports, helping build a high-performing partnership organization. This is an analytical, commercially focused leadership role within a fast-moving fintech and consumer finance environment. Accountabilities: As a senior leader within the partnerships function, you will manage strategic relationships, drive commercial growth, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives that expand partner value and business performance. Lead a portfolio of large strategic partnerships that contribute significantly to overall partnership revenue. Serve as the primary day-to-day relationship owner for major partners, building trust and maintaining strong executive and operational relationships. Own partner P&L and develop marketing strategies designed to achieve monthly and long-term growth targets. Manage and expand relationships across multiple product verticals and identify opportunities to increase partner engagement and revenue. Develop customized marketing plans and growth strategies for strategic partners, secure stakeholder buy-in, and drive execution. Formulate, launch, measure, and continuously optimize partner growth initiatives. Analyze partnership performance and complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights for internal and external audiences. Act as a business development partner for existing accounts by identifying opportunities to expand relationships into new products and capabilities. Build financial and pricing models, negotiate commercial arrangements, and collaborate with Legal to execute new agreements. Partner with Product and Engineering teams to develop partner-specific integrations and test new products through strategic relationships. Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and Compliance to launch, optimize, and scale partnerships. Build sophisticated financial models to evaluate partner performance, inform strategic priorities, and guide team goals. Develop clear, data-driven recommendations and build internal alignment around partnership growth strategies. Manage and mentor direct reports, providing coaching and development opportunities that increase their impact across the business. Requirements: The ideal candidate combines extensive partner management experience with strong commercial instincts, analytical capabilities, and the ability to build consensus across complex organizations. 8+ years of experience in partner marketing, partner management, account management, or a closely related field. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. Demonstrated experience managing and growing strategic partnerships with meaningful commercial impact. Strong business development skills, with prior business development experience preferred. Experience developing financial and business case models to support partner growth strategies and commercial decisions. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into actionable business recommendations. Experience with data visualization tools is a plus. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively through PowerPoint. Strong negotiation, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement capabilities. Self-starter with strong initiative, creativity, adaptability, and sound business judgment. Ability to take calculated risks while maintaining high standards of ethics and integrity. Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and Compliance teams. Experience in consumer lending, financial services, or fintech is a plus. Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to coach and develop direct reports. Benefits: Base salary of $140,000–$165,000 for high-cost labor markets, including markets such as New York City and San Francisco. Base salary of $120,000–$140,000 for other U.S. locations.
