How You'll Make an Impact Execute electrical tests on transformers, switchgear, and other power system components in accordance with established procedures and safety standards. Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical specifications to support testing and troubleshooting activities. Operate and maintain electrical testing equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, hipot testers, and power analyzers. Analyze and document test results, ensuring accurate recording of findings and identification of performance deviations. Investigate test failures through root cause analysis and partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to implement corrective actions. Calibrate and verify testing equipment to ensure measurement accuracy and compliance. Support quality objectives by maintaining testing standards and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while communicating test status and issues effectively to stakeholders. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Your Background Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 2-4 years of experience in electrical testing, preferably in a manufacturing environment supporting power distribution equipment. Strong understanding of electrical principles, circuits, and power system components. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Experience with electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, hipot testers, and power quality analyzers. Strong troubleshooting, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently during a 3rd shift schedule.
