Event Planning Manager at Hyatt

Key Responsibilities: The Event Planning Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing group events contracted by the Sales team while delivering an exceptional client experience from pre-planning through event completion.  The ideal candidate will be proactive, solutions-oriented, and committed to building strong client relationships by anticipating needs and resolving challenges with professionalism and the highest commitment to luxury service. Duties will include but are not limited to: ·       Coordinate and plan meetings, events, and group functions ·       Serve as the primary contact for clients throughout the event planning process ·       Administer sales agreements, detailing food and beverage, audiovisual, and event requirements ·       Work closely with Sales, Operations, Culinary, and other departments to ensure successful event execution ·       Communicate event details, timelines, and special requests to all relevant teams ·       Conduct site tours for groups and clients ·       Monitor events and address client needs or concerns ·       Maintain accurate event records, contracts, and documentation in Hyatt systems ·       Review and reconcile event billing with clients and the Finance team ·       Manage room blocks and billing instructions ·       Attend and lead event planning and group resume meetings ·       Meet or exceed annual revenue and service goals ·       Other duties as assigned Salary: Starting salary range is $65,000 - $90,000 plus bonus eligibility, depending on experience.
