Park Hyatt Washington is seeking an experienced leader to join the Sales, Events, and Marketing team as an Event Planning Manager. Key Responsibilities: The Event Planning Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing group events contracted by the Sales team while delivering an exceptional client experience from pre-planning through event completion. The ideal candidate will be proactive, solutions-oriented, and committed to building strong client relationships by anticipating needs and resolving challenges with professionalism and the highest commitment to luxury service. Duties will include but are not limited to: · Coordinate and plan meetings, events, and group functions · Serve as the primary contact for clients throughout the event planning process · Administer sales agreements, detailing food and beverage, audiovisual, and event requirements · Work closely with Sales, Operations, Culinary, and other departments to ensure successful event execution · Communicate event details, timelines, and special requests to all relevant teams · Conduct site tours for groups and clients · Monitor events and address client needs or concerns · Maintain accurate event records, contracts, and documentation in Hyatt systems · Review and reconcile event billing with clients and the Finance team · Manage room blocks and billing instructions · Attend and lead event planning and group resume meetings · Meet or exceed annual revenue and service goals · Other duties as assigned Salary: Starting salary range is $65,000 - $90,000 plus bonus eligibility, depending on experience.
