Position: Flight Paramedic Dept: CareFlight Air & Mobile Services Shift: Part Time 7pm - 7:30am / 48 Hours per Pay Facility: Miami Valley Hospital The Flight Paramedic functions in a versatile role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence. The Flight Paramedic provides advanced emergency/critical are in conjunction with a CareFlight Nurse during transport. The Flight Paramedic utilizes evidence-based principles to provide safe and rapid transport of critically ill or injured patients by air ambulance or mobile intensive care to a higher-level medical treatment facility. The Flight Paramedic provides advanced emergency/critical care during medical transport and may also provide care within their scope of practice throughout Premier Health. This position also includes public relations and medical education functions.
