EDUCATION Minimal Level of Education Required: High School Completion/GED Preferred educational qualifications: Courses of study related to Maintenance field EXPERIENCE Minimum Level of Experience Required: 1-3 years’ job-related experience Prior job title or occupational experience: - Maintenance Experience Preferred experience: Hospital Maintenance Experience KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS Able to analyze a given situation and make minor decisions. Familiar with equipment, tools, methods, and techniques normally associated with maintenance work Ability to work well alone with no minimal supervision Able to read sketches, blueprints, weights, measures and equipment operations and service manuals. Ability to perform acetylene welding/cutting and electric arc welding. Able to operate a motor vehicle and have a valid operator’s license in order to travel to off-site locations. Ability to record data in a legible and accurate manner.
