This role offers an opportunity to help higher education institutions strengthen their advancement and alumni operations through strategic consulting and practical expertise. You will work closely with advancement leaders and functional and technical teams to evaluate existing operations and identify opportunities for improvement. Depending on the engagement, you may provide interim departmental leadership, lead business process reviews, support CRM selection, or optimize existing advancement technology. You will help clients align their people, policies, processes, and technology to achieve more effective and sustainable advancement outcomes. The role combines strategic advisory work with hands-on implementation, training, change management, and continuous improvement. Consulting assignments may span different institutions and projects, providing exposure to varied challenges, environments, and advancement strategies. Both full-time and 1099 consulting opportunities are available, offering flexibility to match different professional goals and working preferences.
