As a 2027 FIS University Program Summer Intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, social events, professional development seminars and work alongside team mentors. This is a full-time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on May 31, 2027 and conclude on August 6, 2027. About the team: Join our Risk & Cybersecurity Internship Program and gain hands-on experience helping protect the business, technology, and information that power global financial services. As an intern, you'll explore multiple areas within the Risk & Cybersecurity organization, learning how teams identify, assess, and manage risk while helping safeguard systems, data, and operations. You'll work alongside experienced professionals on meaningful projects, develop in-demand technical and analytical skills, and gain exposure to career paths across cybersecurity, risk management, governance, compliance, and resilience. Success in this role comes from curiosity, collaboration, problem-solving, and a desire to learn in a fast-paced fintech environment. What you will be doing: Gain exposure to multiple Risk & Cybersecurity functions through project work, mentoring, and team collaboration. Support teams in identifying, assessing, and monitoring cybersecurity and operational risks. Assist with data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development to help drive risk-based decision making. Participate in security monitoring, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, or compliance-related initiatives. Contribute to projects focused on strengthening security controls, business resilience, and risk mitigation practices. Research emerging cybersecurity threats, industry trends, and regulatory developments affecting the financial services industry. Collaborate with technology, product, engineering, and business teams to support cross-functional projects. Help document processes, findings, recommendations, and project outcomes for stakeholders. Participate in professional development activities designed to build technical, business, and leadership skills. Present insights and project results to peers, mentors, and program leaders throughout the internship. What you bring: Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study including but not limited to Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Risk Management, Business Analytics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering Rising Senior (graduating December 2027 through May 2028) Basic proficiency with AI-enabled tools and the ability to apply them effectively to enhance productivity, problem-solving, and decision-making.
