WHAT YOU WILL DO: The Investigator I position performs entry-level to routine (journey-level) investigative work. Work involves conducting investigations. Works under moderate supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Employees at this level may have limited or no experience and may rely heavily on direction from others to solve problems that are not standard or may occasionally assist other staff in performing work of greater complexity. YOU QUALIFY WITH: -Six months of full-time experience performing auditing or investigating work; or unemployment insurance claims examiner tasks; or gathering of information, interviewing, counseling, or in the instruction, demonstration, and interpretation of policies in a public or private enterprise. -Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position. This position involves lifting and carrying up to 15 pounds of job-related materials. A skills test and/or written exercise will be required at the time of interview. This is a security sensitive position. A criminal background investigation will be conducted on the final candidates for the job. Incomplete applications may not be considered.
