Hybrid Role – Oaks PA Java Full Stack Tech Lead 6+ Months Oaks, PA (Hybrid- Local candidates only) Super Max Rate: $70/hr. Overview: This position requires a foundation of software development knowledge, and the ability to work in an Agile team environment. You should be adaptable, possess a wide range of technical skills, and demonstrate the ability to understand financial services business requirements. You should be a strong ‘utility’ type programmer with the ability to switch context quickly and efficiently with project managers, database engineers, technical operations and other platform personnel Responsibilities: Design, develop and maintain code based on reading and understanding business and functional requirements following the Agile process Produce high-quality code to meet all project deadlines and ensuring the functionality matches the requirements Analyze and resolve issues found during the testing or pre-production phases of the software delivery lifecycle; coordinating changes with project team leaders and cross-work team members Provide technical support to project team members and responding to inquiries regarding errors or questions about programs Interact with architects, technical leads, team members and project managers as required to address technical and schedule issues. Suggest and implement process improvements for estimating development and testing processes BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or applicable programming area of study 8+ years prior work experience working with Database access methods and SQL constructs 8+ years of experience in Java, Spring MVC and/or Spring Boot.3+ years of experience in with Archival and Purging of Data.3+ years of experience with integration with Job schedulers 3+ years of experience with Build & Deployment tools such as Maven, GIT 3+ years of experience in Leading teams Worked with streaming technologies such as Kafka Worked on UI technologies such as Angular Demonstrated a commitment to quality, writing unit tests with Junit and Mockito Proficiency in Analysis, Design, Build, and Deployment of Java applications and Microservices A desire to continue to learn and pick up new technologies and skills Good to Have Experience with container-based deployments such as Kubernetes, Docker, Docker Compose, Vagrant is a plus Work experience with any of the following – PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Linux/UNIX Shell Programming, Python is a plus Experience within Financial Services industry including banking, wealth management Abdul Rehman Ali Khan ————————————— Next Level Business Services, Inc.
