Job title: Java Technical lead Location: Atlanta, GA (Only local) Client: Zensar / Retail domain Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade applications and platforms. Define technical architecture, coding standards, and engineering best practices. Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Program Managers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. Provide technical direction and mentorship to software engineers and development teams. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality, security, and performance standards. Drive system design discussions and technology selection decisions. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions. Ensure scalability, reliability, maintainability, and performance of applications. Contribute to roadmap planning, effort estimation, and technical risk assessment. Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence. Support DevOps practices, CI/CD implementation, and cloud adoption initiatives. Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements where applicable. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 8+ years of software development experience with at least 2-3 years in a technical leadership role. Strong expertise in designing and developing enterprise applications. Hands-on experience with modern programming languages such as Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript , or similar. Strong understanding of software architecture patterns, microservices, APIs, and cloud-native applications. Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies . Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud . Knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines. Experience in distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and container technologies. Exposure to AI/ML , Data Engineering, or Digital Transformation programs is a plus. Relevant certifications in Cloud, Architecture, or Agile methodologies are preferred.
