Lead Data Scientist – AI / LLM / Machine Learning Location: Charlotte, NC – 5 Days Onsite Duration: Contract Job Description: We are seeking a Lead Data Scientist with strong expertise in AI, LLMs, Machine Learning, and data science to lead advanced data-driven initiatives. Key Responsibilities / Skills: Lead Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI projects from data exploration through production. Strong hands-on experience with LLMs, Generative AI, NLP, and AI/ML models . Develop and optimize ML algorithms, predictive models, statistical models, and data pipelines . Strong Python, SQL, data analysis, feature engineering, and model development experience. Work with large datasets to identify patterns, build models, and deliver actionable insights. Experience with LLM applications, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and AI agents is highly preferred. Guide other data scientists and collaborate with Data Engineering, AI/ML, and business teams . Experience deploying and monitoring ML/AI models in production and working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP .
