Lead Java Software Engineer (GenAI & Microservices) (15+ years exp) contract Location: Irving, TX onsite (Local only) Overview We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer with deep expertise in Java microservices and Generative AI technologies to support a new strategic initiative at Wells Fargo. This role will lead the design, development, and adoption of GenAI-powered engineering solutions while partnering closely with business and technology teams. Required Qualifications 16+ years of software engineering experience Strong expertise in Java 17 and Spring Boot microservices Full-stack development experience using Java, React/Angular, TypeScript, and Python Experience with distributed systems, APIs, event-driven architecture, and CI/CD pipelines Cloud platform experience (OCP, GCP, or similar) Hands-on experience with GenAI tools including: Devin Claude (Anthropic) Cursor or similar AI-assisted development tools Knowledge of: Prompt engineering RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) Agent-based and multi-agent architectures MCP (Model Context Protocol) Autonomous AI workflows and orchestration Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy GenAI-powered solutions Build and enhance Spring Boot microservices Integrate AI tools into enterprise SDLC and CI/CD workflows Drive GenAI adoption, onboarding, and best practices Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve developer productivity Provide technical leadership, troubleshooting, and performance optimization Top Skills Java 17 & Spring Boot Microservices GenAI Platforms (Devin, Claude, Cursor) Agentic AI, RAG, and Enterprise AI Integration — Email: monicacet25@gmail.com Related
