The Lead, Partnership Data Contractor will provide high-impact data expertise supporting partnership design, delivery, and continuous learning. This role will translate complex datasets into accessible reporting, dashboards, and actionable insights for diverse stakeholders. You will independently manage data-focused projects while improving tools, processes, and resources used by delivery teams. The position combines hands-on analytics, data quality management, reporting, project execution, and stakeholder enablement. You will collaborate closely with education-focused teams and help strengthen data-informed decision-making across partnership initiatives. The ideal candidate is comfortable working autonomously while communicating complex information clearly to non-technical audiences. This is a remote contract engagement requiring approximately 25 hours per week from October 2026 through March 2027. Accountabilities Adapt existing data collection tools, scalable reports, dashboards, and frameworks to meet evolving team and project requirements while providing constructive feedback on core systems. Develop customized data solutions and reporting resources for specific stakeholder groups and high-priority initiatives. Conduct ad hoc analyses and structure data in accessible formats that enable internal and external partners to make informed decisions. Apply data expertise to identify trends, monitor progress, and translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights. Promote data-driven practices across delivery teams by developing practical tools, training materials, and guidance for colleagues. Independently manage function-specific data projects, ensuring accurate, timely, and high-quality deliverables. Refine operational tools and processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and the ability to monitor project progress. Assess complex project challenges, anticipate potential risks, and implement practical solutions that support continuous learning and operational improvement. Communicate effectively with diverse audiences, adapting messaging and analytical outputs to different levels of technical expertise. Collaborate with colleagues and partners as a trusted data resource, sharing knowledge and strengthening team capabilities. Respond with flexibility to evolving priorities, incorporate feedback, and continuously improve approaches to data and project delivery. Requirements 5+ years of relevant professional experience in K–12 education, instructional leadership, data analysis, or a related field. Strong expertise in data cleaning, validation, transformation, and quality management, with a focus on maintaining accurate and reliable datasets. Advanced analytical capabilities, including the ability to interpret complex datasets, identify meaningful trends, and translate findings into practical, human-centered insights. Advanced proficiency in SQL and Excel , along with experience using Business Intelligence platforms to develop automated reporting, dashboards, and data models. Experience adapting or developing reporting tools and data solutions for different stakeholder groups and business needs. Strong ability to explain data concepts and analytical findings to non-technical audiences through clear communication, documentation, and training. Proven ability to manage complex data workstreams independently, prioritize competing tasks, and consistently deliver against strategic objectives. Strong project management, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Collaborative and adaptable working style, with the ability to build trust, incorporate feedback, and work effectively with diverse teams. Experience creating user-facing documentation, training materials, or guidance to support adoption of data tools is highly valuable. Ability to provide a relevant work sample demonstrating a dashboard or reporting solution, accompanying documentation, and the decision-making context behind the work.
