Role: MES Project Manager Location: 100% Remote Duration: Long Term Contract Project Manager with MES Skill set This PM role involves end-to-end management of MES application projects, focusing on strategic planning, cross-functional coordination, and effective implementation. Key responsibilities include monitoring project performance, managing risks and vendor relationships, and driving user adoption through comprehensive change management. • 10+ years of experience in project management, with a direct focus on manufacturing IT and MES (e.g., Apriso, Rockwell, Siemens, Ignition, SAP ME/MII) implementation projects. • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale system implementations and upgrades. • Strong knowledge of shop-floor systems, manufacturing operations management (MOM), and hardware/software integration processes. • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results. • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). Responsibilities: ● Lead the planning and implementation of MES application projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives. ● Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management. ● Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management. ● Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration among technical, operational, and engineering stakeholders. ● Monitor project progress, track performance, and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure successful project delivery. ● Identify and manage project risks and issues, proactively developing mitigation strategies. ● Prepare and present regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting project milestones, risks, and budget status. ● Ensure adherence to project management best practices and organizational standards. ● Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs) as needed for project execution. ● Facilitate change management processes related to the new MES systems, ensuring shop-floor user adoption and training. ● Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and new technologies relevant to Industry 4.0 and manufacturing execution.
