This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Onboarding Specialist based in United States. This fully remote role plays a key part in helping patients successfully begin and engage with a virtual care program. You’ll connect with patients by phone, introduce them to a remote monitoring device, and guide them through setup and their first successful scan. The position combines patient education, compassionate communication, motivation, and operational accuracy. You’ll own the onboarding journey for assigned patients while helping remove barriers to activation. Working across Operations, Sales, and Device Operations, you’ll contribute to a consistent and positive patient experience. The role is well suited to someone who is organized, empathetic, adaptable, and comfortable working in a performance-focused remote environment. Accountabilities Conduct outbound patient calls to introduce the remote monitoring program, explain its benefits, complete intake information, and encourage participation. Guide patients through device setup and their first successful scan, ensuring they understand the process and feel confident using the technology. Use educational and motivational communication techniques to address questions, hesitation, and objections while maintaining a compassionate patient-centered approach. Take ownership of assigned patients throughout the onboarding process until successful activation is completed. Accurately document patient interactions, progress, and outcomes in the electronic health record and CRM systems. Track outreach activity, including call attempts, contact rates, activation outcomes, and other relevant performance metrics. Follow established scripts, workflows, and communication prompts while maintaining a natural and empathetic conversational style. Escalate technical issues, patient feedback, and barriers to activation to the appropriate leadership team. Collaborate with Operations, Sales, and Device Operations teams to support smooth handoffs and a consistent patient experience. Participate in training and process improvement initiatives designed to strengthen activation rates, operational efficiency, and patient satisfaction. Requirements Prior experience in a call center, healthcare support, patient engagement, customer service, or medical device sales environment. Demonstrated success with telephone-based outreach or other customer-facing responsibilities. Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain processes and technology clearly and empathetically. Comfortable working with cloud-based systems and documentation tools, including Five9 and Google Workspace. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple patient interactions effectively in a remote environment. Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs, workflows, schedules, and priorities. Results-oriented approach combined with empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to helping patients take action. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation while following established procedures. Effective cross-functional collaboration skills and a professional approach to representing the organization with patients and internal teams. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred. Previous healthcare, remote patient monitoring, or medical device onboarding experience is preferred. Familiarity with performance metrics such as call volume, activation rates, and conversion cycles is a plus. Benefits Base salary of $55,000+ , commensurate with experience. Annual bonus opportunity.
