Part Time Driver Trainee at Keystone

Job Description Position Overview: The purpose of this position is to support other roles at the location while actively pursuing a CDL. A CDL must be obtained within 12 months of hire. Once a CDL is obtained and all required documentation is complete, the employee will be moved to the Driver/Operation position with the appropriate pay increase. This role will engage in a range of responsibilities including general lot maintenance, receiving, and delivering product, grounds maintenance and equipment compliance. Duties and Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to Assist with outbound and inbound Agronomy products. Ensure safety compliance. Assist in equipment maintenance. Assist in housekeeping and maintenance of facility grounds including mowing, spraying weeds, and moving snow. Communicate daily activities, needs and accomplishments to management. Prepare and maintain records in accordance with regulations and company procedures. May assist in measuring inventory of dry fertilizer, NH3, UAN, and other chemicals. Required Qualifications: High School graduate or GED; may be offset by experience. Pursuing a Class A or B CDL preferred, or Ag CDL, with required endorsements. Valid driver’s license; must be able to meet a Motor Vehicle Review in accordance with Company policy. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Prior ag experience a plus Required overtime as the season demands. Basic mechanical skills for daily maintenance of equipment preferred. Strong verbal and written communications skills Excellent time management, prioritization, and judgment skills Possess a positive attitude, high energy, and focused attention to detail. Must have a high sense of urgency and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service and team player attitude. Territory and agriculture knowledge is a plus.
