What You'll Do: • Caseflow Management: Develops and recommends strategies, measures, and standards to support effective caseflow management and reduce delays in local courts. • Rule Development: Develops rules and standards that govern caseflow management, delay reduction, case inventory, and statistical reporting for trial and appellate courts. • Service Prioritization: Prioritizes services based on court requests and statistical data analysis. • Case Management Plan Compliance: Helps develop and makes recommendations for case management plans to comply with Sup. R 3.02 and Rules of Superintendence. Assesses court compliance with Rules of Superintendence and relevant statutes, and makes recommendations on compliance. • Program Compliance: Supports trial and appellate courts in court operations. • Consultation: Provides consultation, resource materials, and facilitates discussions to support local courts in programming, rule development, staffing, and operational improvements. • Process and Data Evaluation: Evaluates caseflow processes and statistical data to identify operational improvements and recommends strategies for delay reduction. Offers legal and policy considerations based on such research. • Training: Delivers customized case management and differentiated case management and statistical training. • Develops Resources: Develops and disseminates training, resources, publications, and educational materials to assist local courts on timely justice and caseflow best practices. • Case Inquiry Process: Responds to constituent calls or emails on cases languishing in court systems. Verifies the docket and analyzes caseflow management on cases. Reaches out to local courts for resolution of case or motions. • Facilitation: Facilitates roundtable meetings for judges and staff involving legal, rule, and operational issues; attends relevant committees and public discussions. • Staff Support: Assists the Advisory Committee on Case Management and subcommittees. Provides legal expertise in caseflow management, case assignment, case inventory, and delay reduction. • Site Visits: Conducts visits to ensure compliance with Superintendence Rules on statistical reporting and caseflow management. • Constituent Relations: Maintains strong relationships with stakeholders. • Legal Assistance: Assists with rule drafting, contract reviews, and written work. Provide guidance on legal and ethical issues involving court operations and case management. • Committee Support: Provides administrative and legal support to the Advisory Committee on Case Management and subcommittees.
