The Opportunity HDR is seeking an experienced Project Leader to join our growing team and lead the successful delivery of multidisciplinary engineering and architecture projects from concept through to construction, commissioning and handover. This role combines project leadership, client management, commercial accountability and construction-phase oversight, with responsibility for coordinating complex building services packages across a diverse project portfolio. The position offers a unique blend of office-based and site-based work, providing direct involvement in project delivery, stakeholder engagement, construction activities and commissioning outcomes. Key Responsibilities Lead multidisciplinary projects through design, construction, commissioning and handover. Manage project scope, programme, resources, budgets and commercial performance. Coordinate critical building services including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and fire systems. Provide leadership during construction, working closely with contractors, consultants and project stakeholders. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring successful project outcomes and repeat business opportunities. Lead project teams, mentor staff and contribute to workforce planning and team development. Ensure compliance with quality, safety and regulatory requirements throughout project delivery. Support business development activities and contribute to the growth of HDR's project portfolio. About You You will bring: Demonstrated experience leading complex engineering, building services or construction projects. Strong project management, client management and commercial acumen. Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and stakeholder groups. Knowledge of construction-phase services coordination, commissioning and project handover processes. Excellent leadership, communication and relationship-building skills. Relevant qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related field, and/or equivalent industry experience. Experience in mission critical, data centre or other technically complex project environments will be highly regarded. Work Location This role requires flexibility to work across both office-based and site-based environments depending on project requirements and delivery phases.
