The receiving and storeroom attendant is responsible for receiving, logging, releasing (requisitioning) and inventorying items that are managed by the Purchasing Department.  This person will assist in receiving and shipping of all goods. What You'll Do: Loading Dock ·         Receive goods from Vendors, verifying the correct products as they come in from Vendors, unpacking products as the come into the warehouse, and unpack the goods and store in the proper place. ·         Keep track of invoices on incoming shipments and/or gather invoices from all Food and Beverage outlets and keep in order from each outlet. ·         Work with chemicals and toxic material when helping to check supplies into storeroom area and deliveries. ·         Accountable for all goods in the storeroom, and working with Manager to ensure rotation. ·         Entering data in the different systems, to record invoices, inventory and distribution. ·         Ensure physical delivery of all goods across campus. ·         Ad hoc food and beverage control projects as direct by the Purchasing Manager. ·         Maintain knowledge with MS Excel spreadsheets, Oracle, and Birch Street Accounts Payable ·         Ensure that all receiving is processed timely, especially the F&B invoices (Kitchen and Beverage primarily). ·         Fully conversant with the operation of the Materials Department, i.e. receiving, purchasing, issuing, storing and requisitions. ·         Take or supervise inventories across the property, in all outlets. ·         Ensure that all IDTs are processed in a timely and efficient manner. ·         Prepare various reports required by the departments and assist in the month-end closing process. RATE OF PAY RANGE: $25.00-$27.50 Experience & Education: ·         High school diploma or equivalent. ·         Prior hospitality/purchasing experience preferred ·         At least one-year customer service experience preferred Job Requirements: ·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills ·         A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment. ·         Motivated, energetic and positive personality, a team first mentality ·         This person must be able to lift a moderate to heavy weight (50-100lbs occasionally throughout the day) ·         Ability to be certified on the use of materials handling equipment such as electric pallet jack. ·         Ability to work in harsh condition (freezing temperature, rain, …). ·         Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record ·         Great time management Meticulous attention to detail. ·         Must be available to work weekdays, work day starts at 7am. ·         Open and flexible schedule that includes Saturdays (7am -12pm) and holidays ·         Must be at least 18 years of age.
