Receptionist - JLL What this job involves: The Receptionist will provide general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. They will be responsible for greeting employees and visitors, answering incoming calls, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, maintain calendars for meetings, as well as additional clerical duties. What your day-to-day will look like: Front Desk Duties: Greet/host/provide support for guests, visitors and employees Assist visitors and employees with wayfinding Answer all in-coming calls Submit visitor and parking requests Update phone lists, SOPs and other administrative duties as requested Point of contact for packages/deliveries Respond and follow through to requests for information and communicate with all levels of management with minimal supervision Strong leadership and teamwork with Security vendor personnel that will assist at the reception desk General Office Duties: Housekeeping Duties (i.e. pick up and display literature, maintain a welcoming and clean presentation of the Lobby, report any mechanical issues or other issues to the facilities group, etc.) Assist in the resolve of problems associated with all building services including, but not limited to janitorial, mailroom, badging, and conference room/AV Support. Assists with the coordination and scheduling of visitors with the property security desk Assists with the coordination and scheduling of office/building maintenance activities Mailroom Assistance: Support onsite mailroom with packages/deliveries Support onsite mailroom to prepare postage/labels for mail/UPS/FedEx, courier services, etc. Provide full mailroom coverage when needed Other: Any and all other duties and tasks as assigned Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED 1-2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, office settings or related experience. Excellent customer service and relationship building skills Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook Software Reliable transportation - no onsite parking, but public garages are local (Public Transportation Recommended). Site is located on city bus line, MBTA Green line stop opening at the location in the spring, and walking distance to North Station Full-time position on location - no remote work Preferred Qualifications: Associate's degree or college classes. 3 years of administrative/facilities experience supporting multiple people, preferably in the commercial real estate industry Experience in supporting a front desk that has high security standards and protocols Mailroom experience Physical Work Requirements and Work Conditions This is largely a sedentary role; however, some mailroom duties are required.
