The Referral Coordinator will serve as a reserve point of contact into the Methodist Medical Group clinics as it relates to incoming calls, appointment scheduling, and follow up calls related to coordination of care. Inclement Weather Status Not required to report Job Purpose This position will serve as a liaison between the referral departments, MMG clinical practices, and associated medical neighborhood. Job Requirements: Education: High School Graduation or GED Associate’s Degree or higher, preferred Licenses and/or Certifications: Medical Assistant Certification or equivalent, preferred Work Experience: 5 or more years of professional medical experience in a practice setting, preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish, preferred Related Work Experience and Other Skills: Strong EMR/HER and Microsoft Office experience, preferred Methodist Medical Group is the North Texas physician organization affiliated with Methodist Health System.
