Our partner is looking for a Regional Sales Director, Central Region – Healthcare & Education based in United States. This role leads healthcare-focused commercial growth across the Central U.S., with a strong emphasis on clinical technology and digital therapeutics. You will own regional strategy, build new business, and expand relationships with clinics, behavioral health organizations, therapy practices, and health systems. The position combines full-cycle consultative selling with deep engagement across clinical, administrative, and operational stakeholders. You will also serve as a functional lead, helping sales colleagues understand SaMD sales processes, clinical procurement, and reimbursement considerations. Working cross-functionally with Market Access, Marketing, Product, and Sales leadership, you will help shape commercialization strategy and customer success. Accountabilities: As a regional commercial leader and individual contributor, you will drive revenue growth, develop strategic customer relationships, and help strengthen the sales organization’s expertise in clinical technology commercialization. Generate new leads and prospect across clinics, therapy practices, behavioral health organizations, human services providers, and health systems. Build, manage, and continuously develop a robust regional pipeline to achieve or exceed sales targets. Develop and execute territory strategies that prioritize high-value accounts and accelerate sales cycles. Manage full-cycle consultative sales processes from initial outreach and discovery through negotiation and close. Conduct discovery conversations to understand clinical workflows, reimbursement environments, operational challenges, and customer needs. Position digital therapeutic and SaMD solutions in ways that resonate with clinical, administrative, and operational decision-makers. Own customer relationships throughout the lifecycle and identify opportunities for expansion and long-term growth. Help customers realize measurable value from the platform to support retention and continued adoption. Serve as a voice of the customer, sharing market intelligence and customer insights with Product and Market Access teams. Provide technical onboarding and guidance to sales colleagues on SaMD sales requirements, clinical procurement, and insurance reimbursement. Partner with Market Access, Marketing, Product, and commercial leadership to align sales activities with commercialization milestones. Contribute to a collaborative team-selling environment by sharing intelligence, supporting peers, and reinforcing accountability. Help document and refine commercialization processes and playbooks for regulated clinical technology. Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline stages, forecasts, and sales activity. Provide regular updates to sales leadership on territory performance, procurement cycles, market dynamics, and growth opportunities. Travel up to 50% to support customers, prospects, and commercial activities across the Central Region. Requirements: The ideal candidate brings substantial experience selling regulated clinical or healthcare technology and is comfortable navigating complex buying processes involving both clinical and administrative stakeholders. You should combine strong sales discipline with technical curiosity, adaptability, and a collaborative approach. 5–10+ years of sales experience in digital therapeutics, Software as a Medical Device (SaMD), medical devices, clinical technology, or a closely related field. Proven success selling into clinics, behavioral health organizations, therapy practices, health systems, or similar healthcare environments. Strong understanding of clinical workflows and the ability to build credibility with clinical, administrative, and operational stakeholders. Familiarity with digital health reimbursement pathways, including CPT codes, state Medicaid programs, and CMS processes, is strongly preferred. Demonstrated success developing regional strategies, building pipelines, and consistently delivering against sales objectives. Experience managing complex, consultative, full-cycle sales processes. Strong relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to conduct compelling product demonstrations both virtually and in person. Comfortable working with VR hardware, learning new software platforms, and communicating technical concepts to customers and colleagues. Ability to mentor and onboard other sales professionals on technical, clinical, procurement, and reimbursement considerations. Highly self-motivated and accountable, with the ability to operate effectively in an early-stage or rapidly evolving environment. Strong problem-solving and solutions-oriented mindset. Collaborative approach with a willingness to share knowledge, support peers, and work cross-functionally. Ability to manage ambiguity, shifting priorities, and evolving commercialization strategies.
