EDUCATION Minimum Level of Education Required: High School completion / GED Preferred educational qualifications: Associate degree Position specific testing requirement: Never charged or convicted with a disqualifying offense per Ohio Administrative Code 3701-13-05 LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION / REGISTRATION OPOTA- Required Basic Security Guard Training or comparable firearm certification. Including, the state required 20 hours of firearms Training Valid Ohio Driver's License Required EXPERIENCE Minimum Level of Experience Required: No prior job-related work experience Preferred Experience: 1-3 prior job-related work experience Other Experience Requirements Upon Hire: Annual OPOTA Certified Firearms Qualification TASER Certification Active Shooter Response Training AVADE Training CPR/AED Certification KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS Computer skills desirable This position requires an individual able to work under pressure with many interruptions while remaining calm and pleasant to the public and facility personnel Good written and oral communications and organizational skills. Some typing and computer experience required. Effective telephone skills.
