What you'll do: Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on facilities, equipment, and fixtures to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance with regulations. Inspect, diagnose, and document facility conditions, recommending repairs or replacements to prevent future issues. Lead and mentor less-experienced associates, providing hands-on training and overseeing work quality and safety. Manage maintenance schedules, work orders, parts inventory, and contractor relationships to support operational efficiency and budget adherence. Operate heavy machinery and company vehicles safely, conducting pre- and post-operation inspections. Collaborate with teams to implement process improvements and maintain compliance with company policies and safety standards. What you'll bring: Proven experience in facility maintenance, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and safety compliance. Proficiency in multiple craft skills such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and material handling equipment operation. Ability to diagnose issues using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs. Skilled in operating heavy machinery and powered equipment safely and efficiently. Strong leadership capabilities to oversee work, provide training, and evaluate technician skill sets. Competence in managing work orders, maintenance schedules, parts inventory, and budget reporting. Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations including OSHA and EPA standards. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with managers, contractors, and associates. The hourly wage range for this position is $33.00 - $63.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
