Your Role at KIK Join our team as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk! 2nd Shift (1:00pm – 9:30pm), Monday – Friday In this role, you'll support the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of raw materials and finished goods for our tableting operation. You will play a critical role in receiving, shipping, SAP transactions, inventory control, and maintaining compliance with safety and material handling requirements. As a key member of the operations team, you'll work hand-in-hand with production and our Shipper Packers to keep production running to plan, ensure customer orders ship accurately and on time, and maintain inventory accuracy. This position has an hourly pay rate of $28.37, plus a
.50/hour 2nd shift differential. What You’ll Do Receive, inspect, and verify all inbound materials for the tableting line – including pails, pallets, and lids – and prepare outbound shipments for customer orders and carrier pickups Create production process orders and perform accurate, high-volume data entry in SAP Perform inventory transactions within SAP, complete physical inventories and cycle counts, and investigate inventory discrepancies Examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shippers to rectify damages and shortages Compare identifying information and count, weigh, or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records Maintain operational tracking spreadsheets in Excel, including labor hours and inventory data Complete shipping, receiving, raw materials for BOM, and lot traceability documentation accurately and on time Ensure proper handling, storage, segregation, and identification of pool chemicals and other hazardous materials in accordance with company procedures, OSHA, DOT, and environmental regulations Partner with Shipper Packers, production, planning, transportation, and warehouse supervision to keep production running to plan and ensure on-time customer deliveries Organize warehouse space and resolve discrepancies with suppliers Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, and participate in safety meetings, training programs, and inspections What You’ll Bring High School Diploma or GED required 1 or more years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory control, or forklift experience required Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred SAP experience strongly preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required; strong 10-key and data entry skills Experience with inventory transactions, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy processes Ability to read shipping documents, pick lists, bills of lading, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and hazardous material documentation Ability to obtain forklift certification Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to lead through influence Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to work a fixed 2nd shift schedule, plus overtime and weekends as business needs require Physical Requirements Ability to frequently lift, move, push, or pull up to 40 pounds Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and material handling throughout the shift Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and perform repetitive movements Ability to work in warehouse and manufacturing environments with varying temperatures Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed footwear, and respiratory protection when required What You Will Get KIK offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits including health, wellness, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
