Process student enrollment, transfers, and registration applications through online portals and centralized intake centers. Review and verify critical registration documentation, including proof of residency, immunization records, birth certificates, guardianship, and prior academic transcripts. Assists and guide families through enrollment options, attendance zones, special transfer requests, and district magnet or choice program registrations. Administer and score state-mandated language proficiency assessments. Generate weekly reports for assigned campuses with pertinent EB data and recommendations for improvement for submission to the DL ESL Manager. Review, verify accuracy, and coordinate the electronic filing of all LPAC documentation received by the campus LPAC, ensuring that student records are accurate, up-to-date, and audit-ready. Collaborate with the Emergent Bilingual (EB) student identification process, including overseeing Home Language Surveys, initial testing coordination, and placement timeline compliance. Support the vision and mission of the District and the Dual Language ESL Department. Work required evenings and Saturdays as needed for the Dual Language ESL Department and/or district events. Excellent computer skills with knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office Professional. Excellent organizational, prioritization, oral and written communication, problem-solving, customer service, and interpersonal skills are required to achieve the goals of the position.
