This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Director & Head of Tax based in the United States. This is a senior finance leadership opportunity to build and own a sophisticated tax function within a fast-growing financial technology environment. You will report directly to the CFO and serve as a key member of the finance leadership team. The role carries end-to-end ownership of tax positions, compliance, risk management, investor reporting, and external tax partnerships across a complex investment platform. You will combine deep technical judgment with hands-on operating leadership, deciding what belongs in-house and where external expertise adds value. Working closely with Finance, Legal, Real Estate, Venture, Engineering, and executive stakeholders, you will influence transactions and structures from the outset. This is a build-focused role for an experienced tax leader who thrives in ambiguity, values autonomy, and is motivated by creating scalable, resilient processes.
