This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Accountant based in United States. This is a hands-on accounting opportunity supporting a growing, multi-entity business operating at the intersection of software engineering and financial markets. You will take ownership of core accounting activities across accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, and month-end close. The role offers exposure to an unusual mix of fiat, cryptocurrency, multi-currency, and multi-entity transactions. You will also help strengthen accounting processes, organize historical records, and establish scalable workflows and documentation. Working closely with a globally distributed team, you will have meaningful autonomy and the opportunity to identify issues and implement practical improvements. The position begins as a contract engagement supporting year-end close and continuing into 2027, with potential to develop into a permanent role. It is well suited to an experienced accountant who enjoys solving complex problems and wants to grow into a broader strategic finance role.
