Qualification – Intern must be currently enrolled in an accredited nursing or allied health degree program through a university or college Period – university semester, may continue subsequent semesters Skills required: Strong academic record and demonstrated commitment to nursing or allied health education, patient safety, and clinical excellence Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to engage diverse learner audiences Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented hospital environment with competing priorities Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency with standard office technology and willingness to learn simulation-specific platforms and AV systems Commitment to an average of 10 hours per week for the duration Description: The student intern serves as a contributor to a hospital-based, interdisciplinary medical simulation program that supports Nursing Education and Professional Development (NEPD), Graduate Medical Education (GME), and Allied Health training initiatives. This internship provides the student with immersive, hands-on experience in healthcare simulation education, curriculum design, facilitation, debriefing, and program operations.
