Systems Architect - Infrastructure at analyticallc

Analytica is seeking a  Systems Architect – Infrastructure  to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of secure, scalable IT infrastructure supporting advanced analytics and machine learning solutions. This role is ideal for a senior technical leader who can balance strategic infrastructure architecture with hands-on execution.  The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring infrastructure reliability, performance, and security, while enabling modern data and AI/ML workloads. Working closely with cross-functional technical leads, you will align infrastructure capabilities with program and mission requirements.  Analytica has been recognized by Inc. Magazine as a fastest-growing private US small business.  We work with U.S. government customers in health, civilian, and national security missions.  Analytica offers competitive compensation with opportunities for bonuses, employer paid health care, training and development funds, and 401k match.   Key Responsibilities  Lead the design and architecture of scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure environments   Oversee infrastructure planning, deployment, and ongoing maintenance across cloud and/or hybrid environments   Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of systems supporting data, analytics, and machine learning workloads   Collaborate with data, application, and security teams to align infrastructure solutions with program requirements   Define and implement infrastructure standards, best practices, and architectural patterns   Monitor and optimize system performance, capacity, and cost efficiency   Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements   Support DevSecOps practices, including automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC)   Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide root cause analysis   Mentor engineering teams and provide technical guidance on infrastructure-related decisions   Required Qualifications  Experience in a senior infrastructure engineering or architecture role (Level III or equivalent)   Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar) and/or hybrid infrastructure environments   Experience designing and supporting infrastructure for data platforms, analytics, or machine learning workloads   Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)   Strong understanding of networking, security, compute, and storage architectures   Experience with system monitoring, logging, and performance tuning   Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines   Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills   Preferred Qualifications  Experience supporting big data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Hadoop, Spark)   Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)   Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards in regulated environments   Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or similar   Experience in federal or mission-driven environments   About Analytica:  Analytica  is a leading consulting and information technology solutions provider to public sector organizations supporting health, civilian, and national security missions.
