North Point Technology is looking to hire a Test Engineer to support a mission-critical software capability that enables operational success through reliable, high-quality software solutions. This role is embedded within a fast-paced Agile environment and requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to successfully pass a Polygraph examination. US citizenship is required per contract. Responsibilities: In this role, the Test Engineer will lead the planning, design, development, and execution of comprehensive test strategies for web-based and enterprise applications. The engineer will develop and maintain both automated and manual test cases, perform functional, integration, regression, system, and performance testing, and identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution. This role also involves integrating automated testing into CI/CD and DevSecOps workflows, partnering with software developers, systems engineers, and stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle, and contributing to continuous process improvements that enhance software quality. Required Skills/Experience: Software testing or quality engineering across the full software development lifecycle Development of automated test solutions Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD processes Knowledge of functional, integration, regression, system, and performance testing methodologies Integration of automated testing into DevSecOps pipelines Analytical and troubleshooting skills applied to software defect identification and resolution Preferred Skills/Experience: Automated testing frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress Scripting languages including JavaScript or Python API, UI, database, and performance testing Experience with enterprise applications and large-scale systems Knowledge of cloud-native applications and containerized environments Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field; or Master's degree in a related field Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with ability to successfully pass a Polygraph examination US citizenship required per contract Certifications such as ISTQB, CASTP, CAST, CSTE, or Security+ preferred North Point Technology is THE BEST place to work for curious-minded engineers motivated to support our country’s most crucial missions!
