About the team: The team supports Walmart’s Customer and W+ domain by driving data governance and ensuring data quality across key business areas. Members collaborate to identify data sources, assess data quality, and implement management practices that enhance accuracy and reliability. Utilizing analytical techniques and visualization tools, the team delivers actionable insights to support business decisions. Working closely with stakeholders, the group promotes adherence to data policies and standards while continuously improving processes. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to data strategy and quality initiatives that directly impact customer experience and operational excellence. What you'll do: Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights supporting decision-making across multiple domains. Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and visualizations using tools such as Python, SQL, and Tableau CRM. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. Support data quality management by profiling, cleansing, and validating data to ensure accuracy and reliability. Assist in identifying appropriate data sources and applying statistical techniques to address business challenges. Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders, from Business and Technical teams. Contribute to process improvements and support project delivery under guidance. What you'll bring: Proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction, analysis, and modeling within complex business environments. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and CRM platforms to create clear, actionable insights. Strong understanding of data governance, quality management, and metadata standards to ensure data integrity. Ability to interpret business metrics across multiple domains including finance, marketing, and technology. Skilled in exploratory data analysis and statistical techniques to identify trends and support decision-making. Effective communication skills to present data findings and influence stakeholders. Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), for scalable data solutions.
