Our partner is looking for a User Adoption & Experience Leader for Applications based in United States. This role will lead user adoption, training, enablement, and experience initiatives across SAP S/4HANA and related enterprise applications. You will help employees confidently integrate new technologies into their daily workflows while supporting business transformation at scale. The position combines user experience, change enablement, knowledge management, digital adoption, and AI-enabled support. You will work closely with business functions, IT teams, deployment partners, champions, and super-users across a global organization. A major focus will be supporting SAP S/4HANA Cloud and SAP Business Suite deployments using tools such as WalkMe, SAP Joule, Microsoft Copilot, and SharePoint. The role offers the opportunity to shape how users learn, adopt, and interact with enterprise technology across manufacturing, supply chain, commercial, and back-office environments. Success will require empathy, strong communication, analytical thinking, and the ability to translate complex business processes into intuitive user experiences. Accountabilities Develop and execute comprehensive user adoption strategies aligned with business objectives, user needs, deployment milestones, and organizational priorities. Identify user personas and design tailored onboarding and enablement experiences for different functions, locations, and levels of technical proficiency. Establish and manage champion and super-user networks across business functions and geographic locations to reinforce adoption and ongoing engagement. Define, monitor, and optimize adoption metrics, user behavior indicators, training effectiveness, proficiency, and knowledge retention. Map user journeys, identify friction points, gather feedback, and continuously improve the overall application experience. Design contextual support experiences using digital adoption and AI-enabled tools such as SAP Joule, WalkMe, Microsoft Copilot, enterprise search, knowledge articles, training resources, and support channels. Develop and maintain information architecture, taxonomy, metadata, and business process structures that support enterprise search, AI grounding, self-service, and future AI-enabled capabilities. Ensure process documentation, work instructions, training materials, testing resources, FAQs, and support procedures remain accurate, governed, accessible, and optimized for users. Develop and execute learning strategies covering instructor-led training, virtual sessions, self-paced learning, digital guidance, practice environments, user testing, simulations, refresher training, and collaborative sessions. Coordinate hands-on practice and business simulation activities to build user confidence and proficiency before application deployments. Partner with deployment, business, vendor, application support, hypercare, and IT help desk teams to align training, communications, adoption, and support activities with deployment phases. Establish and coordinate end-user support channels, including digital assistants, digital adoption tools, Microsoft Teams support rooms, champion networks, office hours, FAQs, knowledge repositories, and help desk resources. Ensure users understand where and how to obtain assistance before, during, and after deployments. Support adoption across manufacturing, supply chain, commercial, and back-office environments, with particular attention to operational workflows, compliance, and shop-floor requirements. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Human-Centered Design, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. 7+ years of experience in software implementation, user adoption, user training, change enablement, or a closely related field. Demonstrated success driving adoption of enterprise or off-the-shelf software solutions. Experience with digital adoption platforms such as SAP WalkMe or comparable technologies. Strong ability to quickly understand business processes, workflows, data flows, and user needs. Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Empathetic, user-centric approach to training, engagement, support, and experience design. Strong organizational and project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders simultaneously. Experience working in manufacturing, chemical, process industry, supply chain, or other operational environments is highly desirable. Experience supporting multilingual or geographically distributed user populations is advantageous. Experience with enterprise applications, particularly SAP environments, is preferred. Experience implementing digital adoption, training, knowledge management, or AI-enabled support solutions such as SAP WalkMe, SAP Joule, Microsoft Copilot, SAP Enable Now, learning platforms, or enterprise knowledge management systems is a plus. Practical knowledge of user experience design principles and tools is beneficial. Analytical mindset with experience interpreting user behavior and adoption data. Exposure to Scientific Management principles, including time-and-motion studies, is advantageous. Ability to collaborate effectively across business, IT, deployment, vendor, and leadership teams in a fast-moving transformation environment. Willingness to travel approximately 20% and work extended hours when required to accommodate global teams, time-zone differences, deployment milestones, and business needs.
