Job Description The Vice President of Consumer Payments, Content, Media & Digital Innovation for Latin America and the Caribbean will lead Visa’s consumer marketing agenda across the region. This leader will connect brand, media, content, digital engagement, CRM, sponsorships, data, and innovation into one clear strategy that strengthens Visa’s relevance and drives business growth. The VP will report to the LAC Chief Marketing Officer and partner closely with Global Brand, Strategy, Sponsorships, Product, Sales, Marketing Services, Insights & Analytics, Technology, Finance, Legal, agencies, and market teams. This is an opportunity to build a connected marketing model for LAC, combining creativity, commercial discipline, media effectiveness, data, and AI-enabled innovation to deliver measurable impact. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Define and lead Visa’s consumer marketing strategy across LAC, connecting brand, product, consumer engagement, media, content, sponsorships, and business priorities into an integrated growth agenda. Consumer Payments Marketing: Lead strategies for priority growth areas including Affluent, Next Gen, Cross-Border, eCommerce, New Payment Flows, and other regional business priorities. Brand, Content, and Social: Build consistent, locally relevant brand, creator, content, and social strategies that help Visa show up with cultural relevance and speed. Media Strategy and Governance: Oversee regional media strategy, investment governance, audience planning, agency partnerships, performance measurement, and optimization across consumer, brand, client, and market priorities. Digital, CRM and Data Activation: Advance DTC, CRM, personalization, marketing technology, and responsible first-party data activation to deepen consumer engagement and improve outcomes. Marketing Services Media: Partner with Marketing Services, Sales, Client Marketing, Consulting, and market teams to scale client-facing media solutions with clear commercial and measurement standards. Innovation and AI-Enabled Marketing: Champion experimentation, test-and-learn models, automation, AI-enabled media capabilities, and new ways of working that improve speed, relevance, and effectiveness. Budget and Investment Management: Manage regional marketing investments with strong prioritization, governance, financial discipline, and accountability to brand, business, and client outcomes. Team Leadership and Operating Model: Lead high-performing teams and cross-functional squads, establishing clear ways of working that connect regional strategy with market execution. Collaboration and Communication: Influence senior stakeholders and partner across global, regional, and market teams to align priorities, simplify complexity, and accelerate impact. Performance Measurement: Work with Insights & Analytics to define KPIs, learning agendas, and measurement frameworks across consumer marketing, media, content, CRM, sponsorships, and digital engagement. Media Agency Management & Partnerships: Lead regional media agency relationships, establishing clear governance, performance accountability, capability development, and innovation agendas to ensure strategic alignment, operational excellence, efficient investment management, and continuous optimization across all markets You are: A senior marketing leader who connects strategy, creativity, media, data, technology, and business growth. Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. Qualifications The ideal candidate brings deep consumer marketing, media leadership, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to operate with influence in a complex global matrix. Basic Qualifications: 12 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 8 years of work experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications: 15 or more years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, PhD) 15 or more years of senior leadership experience across consumer marketing, media, content, digital CRM, brand marketing or related disciplines. Expertise and proven results across media strategy, agencies, content, creators, social, martech, and analytics. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect investment to business and client outcomes. Executive presence with proven ability to lead and influence in complex, global organization Work permit sponsorship is not available for this role. Only domestic relocation within the U.S. will be considered. Information for US Applicants For roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $219,400.00 to $ 384,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program. Work Hours Varies upon the needs of the department. Travel Requirements This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
