Our partner is looking for a Vice President, Sales and Revenue Operations based in the United States. This is a senior executive role responsible for driving the strategic and operational performance of a high-scale go-to-market organization. You’ll serve as a strategic partner to revenue leadership, translating enterprise-scale experience into scalable processes, systems, and commercial execution. The role spans Revenue and Sales Operations, Commercial Management and Deal Desk, GTM technology, and sales enablement. You’ll lead a team of 10–15 managers and individual contributors while partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, Services, Finance, HR, and executive leadership. The position combines strategic planning, analytics, forecasting, technology optimization, compensation, and organizational development. You’ll also play a key role in modernizing GTM operations through AI-driven technologies, automation, and data-informed decision-making. Accountabilities: As Vice President, Sales and Revenue Operations, you will own the strategic and operational effectiveness of the GTM organization across four core pillars: Revenue and Sales Operations, Commercial Management and Deal Desk, Systems and Technology, and GTM Enablement and Learning & Development. Partner with the CRO, SVP of Sales, SVP of Marketing, and senior leadership to define sales strategy, objectives, and priorities. Develop and continuously improve the GTM operating framework, including processes, systems, organizational structures, terminology, and governance. Develop annual sales plans, quotas, budgets, and capacity plans aligned with broader corporate and departmental objectives. Assess and optimize sales processes to improve productivity and efficiency across lead generation, qualification, conversion, and revenue execution. Establish KPIs, sales metrics, dashboards, and reporting structures that provide visibility from individual contributors through executive and board-level stakeholders. Develop accurate sales, bookings, revenue, consumption, and capacity forecasting models to support strategic decision-making. Establish and manage forecasting, pipeline, and lead-to-cash governance and operating cadences. Partner closely with FP&A and other finance stakeholders to develop detailed revenue and capacity forecasts. Lead and continuously improve the Deal Desk function, including RFP management, contract management, pricing, and order processing. Collaborate with Legal and Product Marketing to ensure deal processes are compliant, scalable, efficient, and customer-focused. Design and administer competitive sales compensation plans in partnership with HR and compensation teams. Regularly evaluate compensation structures against company objectives, performance requirements, and market trends. Ensure sales teams adhere to applicable company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations. Evaluate, select, implement, and manage CRM and sales technologies based on usage, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. Oversee sales technology adoption and training while continuously challenging the effectiveness of the existing GTM technology stack. Develop and maintain sales training programs covering sales skills, methodologies, products, and commercial practices. Foster continuous learning, skill development, and professional growth throughout the GTM organization. Lead change management initiatives that challenge legacy processes and thinking while improving strategies, workflows, and business outcomes. Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve GTM efficiency and revenue performance. Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of 10–15 managers and individual contributors. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required to support the organization’s strategic objectives. Requirements: The ideal candidate combines extensive revenue operations and go-to-market leadership experience with strong analytical, technological, and commercial capabilities. You should be comfortable operating at executive level while remaining sufficiently hands-on to improve systems, processes, and workflows. Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred. 15+ years of experience in senior go-to-market, sales, revenue operations, or related leadership roles. At least 5 years of leadership experience, ideally within organizations operating at the $100M–$500M revenue scale. Proven experience leading Strategy and Operations plus at least one additional core area such as Deal Desk, GTM Technology, or Enablement. Experience with SaaS and recurring-revenue business models. Strong proficiency with enterprise CRM platforms such as Salesforce, marketing automation technologies, and advanced sales analytics and forecasting platforms such as Tableau. Demonstrated experience evaluating, implementing, and leveraging AI-driven sales technologies, including predictive forecasting, conversational intelligence, and AI-assisted prospecting. Familiarity with basic scripting and low-code/no-code platforms for workflow automation and hands-on problem-solving. Strong understanding of sales methodologies, strategies, operational best practices, and revenue management. Demonstrated ability to manage, mentor, and scale high-performing teams of managers and individual contributors. Highly analytical and technologically savvy, with an AI-first approach to problem-solving, process optimization, and GTM scalability. Strong relationship-building and cross-functional collaboration skills. Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and executive communication abilities. Proven results-driven approach with a strong focus on bookings, revenue, productivity, and margin objectives. Comfortable operating in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments while helping shape a collaborative, high-performance culture. 10+ years of leadership experience, ideally including management of both managers and individual contributors, is a plus. Experience supporting operational integration and alignment during mergers and acquisitions is a plus. Experience accelerating time to value and improving customer lifecycle management is a plus.
